Meet Abel Argumaniz!

Abel serves as a Case Manager and House Manager at Freedom Through Education, where he is dedicated to helping individuals successfully navigate the challenges of reentry and build meaningful, purpose-filled lives. He is an emerging human services professional with a passion for rehabilitation, recovery, and community empowerment. For eight years, Abel facilitated a large lifer support group, encouraging accountability, leadership, and personal growth among those preparing for life after incarceration. Since his release, he has continued investing in his professional development by enrolling in CCAPP to pursue his Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) counseling certification while also serving with Impact Justice, where he continues to strengthen his skills in advocacy, peer support, and community engagement.

Abel's passion for this work is deeply personal. Freedom Through Education played a pivotal role in his own reentry, providing the guidance, encouragement, and resources he needed to successfully rebuild his life. Experiencing that support firsthand inspired him to become part of the Freedom Through Education family so he could help others find the same hope and opportunity. Today, Abel is committed to walking alongside participants as they overcome barriers, discover their strengths, and create new possibilities for their future. He believes that with the right support, accountability, and encouragement, every individual has the potential to build a life filled with purpose and lasting success.
