Meet Leone Vuetivavalagi!

Leone Vuetivavalagi brings both professional experience and a deeply personal understanding to his role as Housing Manager at Freedom Through Education. He also serves as a Case Manager with the Exodus Project, supporting individuals returning home from incarceration who are facing homelessness. As he pursues his Associate Degree in Psychology, Leone continues to build upon his lived experience and passion for serving his community.

Leone’s connection to Freedom Through Education comes full circle. As a former resident himself, he experienced firsthand just how important stable housing and meaningful support can be when navigating life after incarceration. Having a safe place to land gave him the opportunity to adjust, rebuild, and trust in the work he had done within himself.

Today, Leone has the opportunity to provide that same support to others. As Housing Manager, he walks alongside men who were once where he was- encouraging them to believe in themselves, trust the process, and recognize what is possible for their lives.

For Leone, this work is rooted in hope, faith, love, and the belief that meaningful change is possible when people are given the support and opportunity to move forward.
