Meet Salvador Davila!

Salvador serves on the Maintenance team at Freedom Through Education, bringing years of hands-on experience in roofing, concrete finishing, warehouse operations, and operating heavy machinery. His strong work ethic, practical problem-solving skills, and willingness to tackle any task make him a valuable part of the team. Whether maintaining facilities, completing repairs, or helping improve the organization's properties, Salvador takes pride in creating safe, welcoming spaces for everyone. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time fishing and is always willing to lend a helping hand to those around him.

Salvador's journey with Freedom Through Education began as a participant in the program, where he experienced firsthand the support, encouragement, and compassion the organization provides. As he settled into the program, he naturally found himself looking for ways to give back—whether sweeping walkways, picking up litter, trimming tree branches, or helping with property maintenance. Those small acts of service reminded him that he could make a meaningful difference in his community. Today, Salvador is grateful to serve on the Maintenance team, using his skills to give back to the organization that helped him and to support others as they begin their own journeys toward a brighter future.
